How to AT&T Router Login (Find Default Username, Password, IP)



AT&T Router Login: AT&T continues to provide quality services to its customers who are using their internet service. An example of this is their U-Verse, which allows their customers to access a TV cable, telephone connection, and internet access using a single router. Step 1: Make sure your device has an internet connection :

Step 2: Open a web browser on your computer:

Open a default web browser on your computer and type 192.168.1.254 on the URL bar of your browser. 192.168.1.254 is the default IP address of your AT&T Router. After typing the address, click on the ‘Enter’ button to go to the login page of AT&T Router.

Step 3: Type login details:

Once you click on the enter button, you will lead to the AT&T router login page where you need to enter your username and password. If you have not yet changed the default settings, then type admin in the field of username. You will not be asked for a password as long as you are connected to your router network. In case, you are asked for a password when logging in to the AT&T Router, then try to leave the field blank and press the ‘Enter’ button.

If that did not work for you, try to find the details on the sticker on the side of your AT&T Router. Once you locate it, type that username and password in the respective fields.

Step 4: Go to Settings

Once you are successfully logged in to it, you will see the web interface of your AT&T Router. In order to change the default username, password, and other details, you need to access the factory settings.

Step 3: Scroll down the screen to find the ‘User Network’ option. Once you found, click on that option. 
Step 4: To change your AT&T Router’s username, click on the box which is next to the Wi-Fi network name or SSID option. 
Step 5: Then type username as per your preference. For changing passwords, you may use a custom Wi-Fi network password and set the code as your preference to keep your device secure. 
Step 6: Once you are done with your username and password, click on the ‘Save’ button. That’s all. Now, you have successfully changed your AT&T Router’s login credentials. You will need to enter the changed username and password the next time you try to log in to your AT&T Router.

How to reset your AT&T Router to its default settings:

There are many situations in which you may need to reset your AT&T Router. If you have forgotten the password to log in to the AT&T Router web interface, you need to reset your device to its default settings. 

Step 1: Locate a reset button on your AT&T Router device, which is usually incorporated beside the power port of the router.
Step 2: Take a pointy end object or a paper clip to press the reset button and hold it for nearly 15 seconds.  

If you release the button within 15 seconds, it will begin to reboot your router but it will initiate the reset process. Wait until the lights in the router are ON. That’s it. Now, your router was reset to the default settings.
